What you need to use 1MillionNFTs
Hey, community! The launch is getting closer, and we would like to talk about what you will need to work with 1MillionNFTs. So, let’s get to the details.
MetaMask
You probably know what it is ;)
Anyway, MetaMask is an open-source Ethereum wallet that supports all kinds of Ethereum-based tokens (such as ERC-20 compliant tokens and non-fungible tokens, also known as NFT — like in our project).
The distinctive feature of MetaMask is that the extension can interact with other websites. Other wallets require you to copy and paste the payment address or scan the QR code on a separate device.
With the MetaMask extension, the website will simply send a request to the wallet, and you will be prompted to accept or reject the transaction.
This is probably the most common and affordable option for connecting a wallet to any dApp.
And that’s why we have chosen this service for our project.
Marketplace
When you’ve already connected your wallet, you can start selecting the area on the grid. For this, you need to go to the marketplace and select the field you are interested in. The minimum size is 10 by 10 pixels, and the maximum is up to you.
You can only purchase free pixels. Their status is highlighted in color and also fixed in the left toolbar of the interface. The cost of pixels (depending on the location on the grid) is from 1 to 5MIL.
An NFT generates under each pixel automatically after the initial purchase. That’s why, depending on the size of the field, the number of transactions varies.
This division into several transactions is due to the specifics of NFT-certificate generation. We talked about this in some detail here.
So that the user can safely make all payments within the system, we have provided a reservation function. You will have enough time to make the payment in peace.
After purchasing the pixels, they appear in the editor.
Editor
After purchase, you have the opportunity to paint your pixels and assign a link. The cost of coloring (or recoloring) for each pixel, as well as the link, is 1MIL [UPDATE: You can also add your title and description].
How does it work? You select a purchased field, choose a picture, click the “Upload” button. The picture will automatically stretch across the width of the zone and turn into pixels. The bigger the zone, the more detailed the picture will be. When you click on the picture, the link you assigned will be displayed in the box on the left.
