Hello, community! It’s been a minute, but we are back with the next big thing! But first, let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we?
In 2005, there was Alex Tew’s one-man-takes-all attempt at the 1milliondollarhomepage with a 1000x1000 grid.
Then on April Fool’s Day in 2017, there was Reddit’s social experiment, “Place,” across a 1000x1000 grid with 1 million pixels proposed to be a collaborative work of art. Unfortunately, it became a 72-hour attempt to get more users and visibility for Reddit.
After these attempts, we thought long and hard about their gaps and came up with a solution that offers the best of both worlds — 1 million NFTs, a smart-contract based web3 platform on the Ethereum blockchain.
Boards. What is their fate?
With the ever-evolving world of DeFi and DEXes, IDO sales, and 100x profits, it’s apparent that the former experiments left the users short-changed and should be upgraded.
Now, that is what our developing 10,000 by 10,000-pixel grid proposes.
1MillionNFTs is both an investment and a creative project that efficiently combines commercial potential with rebellious creativity. As the name implies, you have 1 Million NFTs at your disposal. Users have autonomous rights to buy, sell, lease, or color any grid section and even customize it with a URL address, title, and description.
Every area on the grid has an NFT certificate and a price from 1 to 5MIL for each cell. So each operation requires 1MILs and burns 50% of the coins. That means 1MILs are getting fewer by the day, and just like any worthwhile project, as the coins get limited, the value increases, and the threshold for acquisition gets higher.
There is no denying that as the platform evolves, the prices for zones will increase. You can now jump on that train by buying at least one of the 1,000,000 NFTs on the board.
Once you secure your space, you can add any image that will be pixelated and adapted to the board. Then you can customize it with other images and add a description, title, or link for anyone who clicks on your picture on the board. The good news is, there’s more where that came from.
Even more opportunities for boards on existing chains: Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Aurora. And one more update that we have smoothly approached.

All this time, the 1Mil team has been working on the project, on its technical and marketing side. Very soon, you will see with your own eyes what we have prepared for you. But we’d like to announce it in a few words. We are in the final stages of development and at the same time one step away from launch. To the launch of a new board on the Near network.
The team is charged, inspired, and ready to break into a new chain and a new phase of 1Mil development. What’s next? We will keep you informed, but we thought to whet your appetites with these for starters.
